My name is Claire, the artist behind Moonspade Magic

 

I have been have been selling art professionally and working as an artist for 6 years. 

 

I graduated from Ontario College of Art University in 2015 and hold a BFA in drawing and Painting. I am based in Montreal, and am a proud member of the WolfLab art collective here. 

 

My work is based on my experience in the world. It is a day by day practice in observation and reflection, in connecting many different ideas related to the self and the internal structure of the self with the appearance of what can be observed from the body. Vision will always come from inside the body, and my vision is varied and omnivorous. When I am not painting I love to draw from life, walk in nature, and love my mindfulness practice that keeps me in this moment. I encourage you to reach out with any questions ! Thank you :)
