Bad Faith means to be of two minds, and each is fooling the other. It is a work about deception and the thoughts that lead up to it. There would be an internal spinning, no resolution to the sensation of knowing that one way of living is the right way but that what you truly desire would be extremely pleasurable. The result is a whirl of light and dark, a man spinning so fast that he becomes a planet in orbit around something he can never reach but cannot help being around.
