Anatomy is about the parts of something and how it works internally; to fully know how something works we would take it apart and see all of it from every angle. I was struck by this specimen of sheep lungs next to human lungs in the museum, how the need to know drove a team of scientists to open something up and look inside of it. We all must do that internally if we want to know how our relationships work – open them through talking, through memory.
